The Country house of Messine is an old and roomy Bastide of Provence going back to 1850, entirely restored, with 3 Ha of countryside with swimming pool (6 x 12m) in the Cante Perdrix Hill, in front of the panoramic view of the Hills of La Celle and the mountain of La Loube.

Ideally located at 5mn of the town center of Brignoles, 1/2 H off Aix in Provence and Toulon, 1 H of Marseille and Nice (the Gorges of the Verdon are at a small hour to practise canoe or pedestrian excursions, the loading for the Gold Islands (It Raising, Porquerolles and Port-Cros) is only to 45 mn to spend the day there and to find quiet in country-side of La Bastide.

It is a comfortable and cordial House where there is a good and relax way of life, at the edge of the swimming pool during summer with the cicadas or at the corner of the chimney during winter with the crackling of fire.

The welcome is smiling and cordial all the year. Nelly and Bruno will offer with pleasure their Home-made Aperitif wines (according to seasons': wines of lemons, nut, oranges or grapefruit or hot wine!).

Convivial atmosphere around the full French greedy breakfast with the home-made Nelly’s jams and with the fresh bread “baguette”, the buns, fruits juices, or around the Table of Hosts during the evening (on reservation the day before).

Possibility to have meals during the evening, according reservation and availibility :

• Sharing our Table d’Hôtes, with a minimum of persons : familial and generous menu from provençal cooking proposed for 35 euros all included : home-made aperitive, starter, main course and vegetables, cheese, dessert, red and rosy wines from Provence, coffee or herb-tea, brandy.
