n the picturesque XVII century hamlet of Fontcaudette, 5 km from the beautiful village of Gordes, we have two double guestrooms as well as two stone houses ("Bastidons") to let.

Come and enjoy this oasis of peace and tranquillity. The comfort of your abode, combining the traditional with all mod cons, and the warm reception will guarantee detached and fulfilling vacations. You may simply relax at the poolside, or you may set out to discover the rich cultural heritage and the ravishing landscape of the area. You might feel like visiting the historic cities of Avignon, Aix , Orange and Nîmes, with their monuments and their festivals.

Or else, if you feel more like the countryside, there is much to be discovered in the beautiful nearby villages of Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lourmarin and others less well known but also well worth a tour.
And there is always, just around the corner, the market town of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue with its justly famous antiques dealers. Plus, lots of colourful Provence markets and wine tasting are within easy driving distance.

If you are interested in a more active holiday, there are sports opportunities a-plenty. Hiking, biking, horse riding, kayaking and world-class golfing (Golf de Pont Royal) are all available in the near neighbourhood.

Our houses – "Olivier" and "Laurier" - are stone houses of approx. 450 sq.ft. each, both planned for two people, both nestled in an enchanting walled garden which is opposite the main house. Both houses are air-conditioned and have each a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet (and bidet), a TV and a private terrace with a view on the Luberon. There is also a closed parking area at your disposal.

In "Olivier ", the kitchen-cum-dining room is separated from the living room-cum-bedroom (with two beds which can be put together easily) by a wall featuring a fire place. An additional bed is available at the mezzanine.
In "Laurier ", there is a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed.

How to get there:

From the North:
Take the A7 to Avignon – exit 24 (Avignon Sud) – then D900 in direction of Apt, to Coustellet. Pass through Coustellet, staying on D900 and NOT turning left towards Gordes, until you have reached the Oil Mill (Moulin à l’huile St. Augustin), with a big millstone on your right. At the millstone, take a left turn onto a very secondary road (D 180, not marked as such) and continue following the signposts “Fontcaudette” and/or “Le Mas des Roses”.

From the South:
Take the A 7 direction Avignon – exit 25 (Cavaillon). Pass through Cavaillon, then continue on the D 2, direction Coustellet/Gordes, to Coustellet. .Make a right at the red light in Coustellet, on to the D900, direction of Apt and continue as above.

From the Southwest:
Take the A 9 – exit 23 (Remoulins) – continue on the N 100 to Avignon, then N 7 direction Sisteron/Apt, then D 900 to Coustellet and continue as above.
