Saint Vincent
sur Jabron

Pop. : 151 h. Elevation : 550 m.

Department of Alpes de Haute Provence

From Sisteron, take the D 946

A square grouping together the school, "mairie" and post office, with its ancient plane trees that seem to have been planted to shelter the quartet of pétanque players, a street-village where the restored stone-built houses rub shoulders with pastel coloured house fronts and blue-lavender and green-almond coloured shutters, an intimate cobbled street with a stone archway, a big covered wash-house and a few terraces where Virginia creepers are growing - no doubt about it, you're in Provence!

A peaceful, bucolic Provence, hardly disturbed by the hordes of tourists, and immersed in a beautiful natural environment protected from pollution of any kind...
People who like outdoor sports, such as hiking, will have a great time: St Vincent is at the foot of the Lure Mountain, a superb rocky ridge that dominates the whole region!
