The little village of Villemus is situated between Manosque and Reillanne, in the heart of superb countryside. Far from the main highways, you will appreciate the fabulous natural environment surrounding the village.

From Villemus you can set off on some long walks in the Parc Naturel Régional du Luberon which belongs to the commune.

In the village, you can visit the original site where Villemus was first built. Only the ruins of the chateau-fort destroyed in the revolution remain today.

By climbing the stairs opposite the phone booth, you will not only come across the ruins but there is a panoramic view over the Forcalquier basin, the Lure mountain, the Luberon and the Largue and Encrême valleys... it's a breathtaking sight !
