Horseback riding excursions in Camargue - The Other Camargue! - Promenade des Ričges

he riding centre is lead by a friendly and familial atmosphere. It has the best location not only isolated in the Camargue, but also at 800m of the centre of Saintes Maries de la Mer and at 1km of the beaches. The center has 15 Camargue horses, some of them are also mixed with Arab, Berber and Spanish breeds. The saddles are typical of the saddles used for working with the cattle in Camargue.

Claudio, the manager of the centre, organizes excursions and treks of different length according to the level of the riders (from beginners to advanced) and to the selected program.

Learn the Camargue riding style
A week ride meeting the Gardians, the Camargue Cow boys.
From Sunday to Sunday

ou will learn the Camargue riding style accompanied by our gardians, discover the work of the horses in a bull breeding of more than 800 hectares.
(This last part of the program is located in a private property where the tourists cannot usually go).

This program is for advanced riders. For the cattle cutting, only riders considered able to ride inside the field of bulls will be able to cut with the gardians.

The other riders will look at the work out of the field.
This complete program of cattle work request at least 8 riders.

Alternative day on Wednesday and Thursday.
Considering the saddle and horses style, we will take every rider weighting no more than 90 kilos.
