Lose yourself in the narrow streets of Èze—that's the best advice I can give for visiting Èze Village. As soon as you enter the village, you are immersed in the atmosphere of the south with the sounds of nature, the sea in the distance, the smells of cafés, and the architecture of the vaulted houses.
The Fragonard and Galimard perfume shops offer free tours to discover the secrets of making Provençal perfumes.
When to visit Èze?
The best time to visit Èze is from May to October, during the high tourist season. The weather is warm and sunny, ideal for strolling through the village's narrow streets and enjoying the beaches of the French Riviera. However, to avoid the crowds, May, June, and September are the best months to visit.
Spring seems to me to be the best time to visit Eze. The climate is still mild, the exotic garden is pleasant, and the streets are full of flowers. But from April to May and September to October, the weather is favorable, it's warm, and the landscapes are sunny, so for me, that's the best time to visit.
Avoid July and August if possible. In July and August, there are far too many tourists in the village's narrow streets, which is why I don't recommend visiting Eze in summer.
Winter offers exceptional tranquility with very few tourists, but the sun struggles to warm the narrow streets. The best months to visit Eze are May, June, July, August, and September, according to climate data.
Try to arrive early in the morning to enjoy the village before the tourist buses arrive.
