The tourist office is located on Place Gabriel Moutte, in the heart of the village.
You can easily find it on our interactive map at the top of this page. The reception is open all year round with opening hours adapted to the season.
The staff can provide information on guided tours and events. You will also find the “Talents d'ici” area, which showcases the work of local artisans.
The office is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Tourist booklets in Braille and large print are available on request.
Where to park in Pernes-les-Fontaines?
Parking can be difficult in high season, especially on Saturday mornings during the market.
Our map on this page shows you all the parking lots in the village. The municipal parking lot on Boulevard Trewey is free and offers plenty of spaces.
Place Gabriel Moutte and Place Frédéric Mistral offer parking spaces in the heart of the center. Please note that parking is limited to 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on the zone, with a blue disc required.
The Cours Frizet car park is ideal for visiting the village on foot. Motorhomes can find suitable spaces near the Jean Moulin sports complex.
Remember to arrive early at the weekend to find a space easily. During the week, parking is less of a problem.
What are the must-see places?
The Tour Ferrande is a must-see monument with its 13th-century medieval frescoes. These exceptionally well-preserved murals depict Charles of Anjou's conquest of Sicily. Climb 60 steps to discover this historical treasure on the top floor.
The Clock Tower offers an exceptional view of Mont Ventoux and the Comtat plain. This remnant of the former castle of the Counts of Toulouse dominates the village.
The 14th-century Notre-Dame Gate marks the fortified entrance to the historic center. Its two towers frame a bridge over the Nesque River, topped by a small 16th-century chapel.
The Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth Church dates back to the 11th century. This Romanesque collegiate church features a remarkable period porch and Louis XV organs.
The Circuit des Fontaines (Fountain Trail) takes you on a tour of 41 public fountains, some of which are listed as Historic Monuments. The Gigot fountain and the Cormoran fountain are among the most beautiful, with their sculpted mascarons.

How to get to Pernes-les-Fontaines?
By car, you can reach Pernes-les-Fontaines via the A7 motorway, taking the Avignon Sud exit. The village is located 30 km from Avignon, about a 30-minute drive. From Carpentras, it takes about 10 minutes. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is 15 km away.
By train, get off at Avignon TGV station. From there, take the TER line 16 to Carpentras, then bus 913, 920 or LER 57 to Pernes. The total journey from Avignon TGV takes about 1 hour 30 minutes with connections. Paris-Avignon TGV takes 2 hours 45 minutes.
Bus lines ZOU 913, 920, and LER 57 also connect Pernes to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Cavaillon, and Aix-en-Provence. The main stop is at Place Gabriel Moutte. From Marseille-Provence Airport, take line A2 to the Aix bus station, then line LER 57.
