Le Fugeret
Take the D908 from Annot, for 6 km.
This unassuming little village located on the left bank of the Vaïre river is surrounded by beautiful pine and larch forests.
Le Fugeret, which is the starting point for many walking trails, has a remarkable church whose foundations date back to the 12th century.
It houses three beautiful 17th century paintings.
The village also has some traces of Roman presence(temple and statue) and a magnificent, graciously curved humpback stone bridge, dating from 1759!
