The office is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in winter. Opening hours are extended during the summer season. From mid-March to mid-October, it is also open on Sundays.

Where to park in Beaumettes?
Parking in Beaumettes is generally easy during the low season. The village has parking spaces along the main street. Parking spaces are located less than 200 meters from the town hall.
Please note that the situation changes during the high season. Parking spaces become scarce between June and September. Weekends in July and August are the most difficult.

Must-see places to discover
The troglodyte houses are Beaumettes' main attraction. These natural cavities have probably been used as dwellings since Neolithic times. You will see their glass windows built into the cliff overlooking the village.
The parish church of the Annunciation dates from the 19th century and is built in the Neo-Romanesque style. You will also see the remains of a 15th-century castle with its dovecote. These monuments bear witness to the local architectural heritage.
The Dolmen de l'Ubac is located between Beaumettes and Goult. This megalithic tomb dates from the late Neolithic period, between 3300 and 2900 BC. The site has been the resting place for around fifty deceased individuals over the centuries.

How to get to Beaumettes?
By car from Avignon: Beaumettes is located 33 kilometers from Avignon. Take the D900 towards Apt. Two departmental roads serve the village: the RD 103 towards Gordes to the north and Ménerbes to the south, and the RD 211 towards Cabrières-d'Avignon.
The journey from Avignon takes about 40 minutes. The road passes through the magnificent landscapes of the Luberon. You will pass by hilltop villages and vineyards.
By public transport: Bus lines 914 and 915 serve Beaumettes. The LER 22 line also provides access to the village. The stop is on the RD 900.
The nearest SNCF train stations are Cavaillon and Avignon. From these stations, you will need to take a bus or taxi. Beaumettes is 597 kilometers from Paris.
By plane, Avignon-Provence airport is the closest. Marseille-Provence is an alternative, an hour's drive away. You will then need to rent a car to reach the village.
