Discover the village of Uvernet Fours and the Pra Loup ski resort
Located in the heart of the Ubaye valley, Uvernet Fours is a mountain village that grew out of several small hamlets. Today, it is home to the famous Pra Loup ski resort. Created in 1962, the Pra Loup ski resort has made a spectacular contribution to the village's economic development.

The Pra Loup ski area
Pra Loup is a huge ski area in the Alpes de Haute Provence between 1,500m and 2,600m above sea level, with 180 km of slopes offering breathtaking views over the peaks of the Parc du Mercantour. You'll be able to ski all day without having to ski the same run twice.

The ski area is linked to La Foux d'Allos by the Espace Lumière, which boasts almost 80 runs and 38 lifts. Cross-country skiers are not forgotten, with over 40 km of trails on the Val d'Oronaye - Larche Nordic site.
Hiking in the Mercantour National Park
Uvernet Fours Pra Loup has a beautiful natural heritage, with lakes, waterfalls and over 60 3,000 m peaks. You're in the Mercantour National Park, and there are some splendid walks to be had around the Col de la Cayolle (2326m) and Col d'Allos (2240 m), not forgetting the Allos lake. Discover the wild gorges of the Bachelard and the torrent des Agneliers.

Pretty hamlets near Col d'Allos and Col de la Cayolle
The Hameau de la Malune on the road to the Col d'Allos is well worth a visit, as are the hamlets of Fours, Saint-Louis, Saint-Laurent, Villard d'Abas, Les Longs and Bayasse on the road to the Col de la Cayolle.
In the midst of authentic, unspoilt nature, you'll come across marmots and a whole host of wildlife, with the delightful sensation of being at the end of the world and far from everything.
