Where to park in Bauduen?
Parking can be difficult during the high season.
The main car park at the entrance to the village has 49 spaces, including 2 for people with reduced mobility. It is the most convenient and is free of charge.
In summer, parking becomes difficult and spaces fill up quickly. Arrive early in the morning or late in the afternoon for the best chance of finding a space.
The car park is located right next to the lake. You will have direct access to the supervised beach in summer and the pontoon. It's a great location to start your day.
Two charging stations for electric cars are available in this car park. Please note that they are sometimes reserved for market days.

There are also a few spaces along the village streets. However, these are very popular and often occupied by residents.
What are the must-see places?
Lake Sainte-Croix is the main attraction. Its turquoise waters are perfect for swimming and water sports.
You can rent pedal boats, canoes, or paddleboards. The small port of Bauduen also offers sailing and electric boats. Gentle activities are preferred to preserve the tranquility of the area.
The Church of Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul dates back to the Romanesque period. Its square bell tower dominates the village. The interior is worth a look, with its ancient bells from 1510 and 1727.
The Saracen tower is one of the village's medieval remains. You will also see sections of the ramparts that once protected Bauduen.
The narrow streets lead you to well-preserved Renaissance doors. You will come across fountains, a pretty wash house, and old facades with flower-filled windows.

How to get to Bauduen?
The car is still the most convenient way to reach Bauduen.
From Aix-en-Provence, it takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes to cover the 92 kilometers. Head towards Manosque and then follow the signs to Verdon.
From Marseille, the journey takes about 1 hour and 47 minutes to cover the 110 kilometers. You will pass through Aix-en-Provence or Brignoles, depending on your route.
From Toulon, allow about 1 hour and 30 minutes to cover the 108 kilometers. Head north via Brignoles and then Barjols.
There is no train station in Bauduen. The nearest station is about 37 kilometers away in Arcs-Draguignan. You will then need to take a taxi or rent a car.
Buses serve the region, but connections are complicated. The village is located in the Verdon Regional Natural Park, a sparsely urbanized area where a car is essential.
If you are coming from a large city, take the departmental roads. The RD 957 from Aups is a particularly pleasant route with beautiful scenery.
