You can also extend your visit with a walk through the nearby hills. Le Petit Bessillon, to the south, is ideal for hiking. In half a day, you can combine a visit to the village with some fresh air.

Where to Park in Pontevès?
Parking requires a bit of care in Pontevès. The village is perched on a hill, with narrow streets.
During peak season, finding a parking spot can quickly become difficult. Spaces are limited, especially in the summer and on market days. It’s best to arrive early in the day.
The easiest option is to leave your car on the outskirts of the village. You can then walk up to the historic center. It’s a short walk, and the stroll is part of the fun.

How to get to Pontevès?
Pontevès is best reached by car. The village is located off the main thoroughfares.
From the A8 highway, take the exit toward Brignoles or Saint-Maximin. Then take the road toward Barjols. The RD 560 connects Barjols to Pontevès in just a few minutes.
The village is also accessible via the RD 60 toward Fox-Amphoux. These roads wind through the countryside of the Provence Verte. The drive is pleasant and easy to follow.
