Where is the Toulon tourist office?

The Tourist Office welcomes you on Place Louis Blanc at the bottom of Cours Lafayette, right next to the port, and on Place Raspail, in the heart of the city, next to the market halls. The main reception is located at 12 Place Louis Blanc.

All year round Open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. These hours may vary during the low season.

Classified as a Category 1 tourist office, the Tourist Office is also certified “Tourism and Handicap” for visual, mental, motor, and hearing disabilities. The multilingual staff is available year-round to provide information.

What are the must-see places in Toulon?

Mont Faron and its cable car

A 378-meter climb, less than six minutes up and an arrival at an altitude of 584 meters: this is what awaits visitors boarding one of the red cable car cabins from Rue Perrichi. Mont Faron offers the most beautiful panoramic view of the city and the harbor.

At the top of Mont Faron, the breathtaking panoramic view is complemented by hiking trails, a zoo, and a memorial to the Normandy landings. The zoo is home to rare and endangered species.

The National Maritime Museum

How to get to Toulon?

By train

The journey from Paris to Toulon takes around 4 hours on the TGV INOUI. TGV and TER trains operated by Flexibus and Ouibus stop at Toulon station and take you to several towns in the Var department.

The SNCF train station is located in the city center, close to the port and main attractions. It is the most convenient way to reach Toulon from major French cities.

By car

If you want to make the journey by car, take the A50 at exits 15 and 16. The A50 motorway provides direct access to the city center and various neighborhoods.

Having a car makes it easier to get to nearby sites and beaches. Several public car parks are available in the city center and near the port.

By plane

Toulon Airport is located 25 minutes from the city center. Once there, you can take a taxi or the shuttle bus to Toulon Bus Station (line 102) for €1.40.

Toulon-Hyères Airport offers regular flights from several French and European cities. Bus connections make it easy to reach the city center.
