Montagnac-Montpezat is a charming, quiet little village where life goes on undisturbed, except for its truffle market, which is held every January.
This is the village’s major event and the reason for its fame: some people know this village only as “Montagnac les Truffes.”
A village near many lakes
Located in the heart of the Verdon and just a stone’s throw from Lake Montpezat, Lake Sainte-Croix, and Lake Quinson, you can swim in the summer, go canoeing, and, of course, enjoy the Verdon’s splendid landscapes on the beautiful hikes available to you.
