Puget Rostang
From Nice, take the RN 202, in the direction of Digne then the D16 to Puget Théniers.

Puget Rostang is an ancient XIth century village set against a wild mountain backdrop between the Var, Roudoule valleys and the Dina plateau.
The village has been built in the form of amphitheater with the tall, rectangular nobles's house on the summit.

The heart of the village is a maze of picturesque paved or stone streets, vaulted passageways and ancient medieval steps.
In Puget Rostang you can find the Ecomusée du pays de la Roudoule where you can discover the history, customs and traditions of the area.

Theme days offer the opportunity to learn how to make bread, press olive oil or distil lavender...
After all that Roudoule won't hold any secrets from you, you'll just have to work on your accent to become a true "provencal"!
