Situated between Salon de Provence and Aix en Provence, Lambesc is a pleasant town with a rich historical past. Lambesc played an important political role under the reigns of Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI. The General Assemblies of the Communities of the Pays de Provence sat here for 140 years! That's why Lambesc is known as the "Versailles of Aix".
