Where is the tourist office?
The Trets tourist office is located at the Château des Remparts, Boulevard Étienne Boyer. It is open from October 1 to May 31: Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. From June 1 to September 30: Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What are the must-see places?
The feudal castle is the main jewel of Trets. Built in the 13th and 14th centuries by the descendants of the Viscounts of Marseille, it features machicolations, arrow slits, and a baroque fireplace decorated with plasterwork inside.
The Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth church is also worth a visit. This imposing building, both in terms of its size and its rich history, is listed as a Historic Monument. The church still has its original choir, making it one of the oldest Christian buildings in Provence and France.
Don't miss the Saint-Jean-du-Puy hermitage, located at an altitude of 658 meters. The hermitage overlooks the Arc valley and offers a beautiful view with an orientation table. It is a popular hiking destination for visitors.

How to get to Trets?
By car, Trets is easily accessible from the A8 motorway. The A8 La Provençale motorway crosses the northern part of the town between Aix-en-Provence and Saint-Maximin. The RD N7 (formerly the Nationale 7) runs along the north of the town.
From Aix-en-Provence, it takes 25 minutes by car to cover the 23 km. From Marseille, it takes 35 to 40 minutes to cover 45 km. Saint-Maximin is only 12 minutes away (16 km).
By public transport, Trets has a multimodal transport hub. Inaugurated in January 2019 by the Metropolis, this bus station has seven platforms, three of which are reserved for school buses, with a large free parking lot. Several bus lines serve the town, including lines 160, 500, and L064.
