A historic village in a prime location

On the left bank of the Verdon River, the old town features beautiful 17th- and 18th-century houses and a courtyard shaded by plane trees said to have been planted by shepherds from Arles in the 18th century—Vinon was then an essential stop on the transhumance route.

Vinon is home to France’s first gliding center, featuring a three-runway airfield at an altitude of 274 meters.
