Hiking trails in the Alpes Maritimes take you through steep, mountainous landscapes.
The routes start from the coast and the Côte d'Azur, follow the lush green valleys to reach the Haut Var, the Alpes de Haute Provence and the magnificent landscapes of one of Europe's largest nature reserves: the Mercantour National Park, with its 210,000 hectares of protected land and its rich and diverse flora and fauna.
