Gars

Last update on Dec 24, 2024

70 km north of Grasse on the N85 then right on the D2211 and then the D84.

Gars is a small ancient village clinging to a high, mountainous hill.
The village houses are tall and straight, built close to each other, and searching out the sun. Narrow vaulted streets leave from the main street. Some pass right under the houses.
Visiting Gars, is like visiting time standing still, a pleasant tranquil village refreshed by the numerous fountains. Just the sound of the waterfalls to trouble the silence
