Bellaffaire is a small village on the southern edge of the Hautes Alpes, very close to the Serre-Ponçon lake. It is located on a slight rise in the middle of an untouched natural site of wooded hills and green meadows.
You will find absolute peacefulness among its scattered houses that huddle round the church, its kitchen gardens shaded by lime trees, its little fountain cleverly placed under the hundred-year old plain tree, its cats and dogs lazing gently!
The superb unblemished nature that surrounds the village will enable you to enjoy numerous walks and hikes, to discover the remarkable wildlife here: yellow lady's-slipper, Alpine columbine, Edelweiss, Orange Lily, etc...
