Saint Trinit is a tiny village nestled peacefully on the border between the Vaucluse and Alpes de Haute Provence regions, surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Pays de Sault.
Saint Trinit and its few houses clustered around its listed 12th-century church dedicated to the Holy Trinity will welcome you with simplicity and kindness.
Here you will be surrounded by lavender fields as far as the eye can see. If you are lucky enough to be here in July when the lavender is in full bloom, you can enjoy the fabulous spectacle of purple fields mingling with golden grain, a truly enchanting sight.
The Church of the Trinity dates from the early 12th century. It has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1915. You will also find a Saint-Roch chapel built in 1629-1630 to protect the village from the plague. An old priory with a vaulted door stands opposite the church.
The Bistrot de Saint-Trinit is the heart of the village. Anthony and Élodie welcome you with cuisine made from local produce. The daily menu costs £22 (starter, main course, dessert).
Far from the main roads, isolated in the midst of unspoilt, abundant nature, you will feel as if you are living outside of time.
There are no holiday cottages or residences in the village, but below we recommend hotels in the nearest villages in the Vaucluse department.
