Pierrefeu du Var
North-East of Toulon by highway A57 or route N97. There is also the scenic route D12 coming from Hyeres on the coast.

Pierrefeu is right at the border ot the Massif des Maures. It is settled at the foot of a rocky peak that keeps guard over the village.
On the banks ot the Real Martin you will find an environment of greenery and sun.

In the surrounding hills, the rich past of Pierrefeu can be seen at different ancient sites such as Castellas, Peyrac, and Quatre Termes.
The reputed vineyards and wooded areas that surround Pierrfeu make for wonderful hiking country, crossing through fields and country tracks, and for the hardy, going all the way to the coast, 15 kilometers away.

At the entrance to the village, on the terrace that looks over the plains, is a monument in the form of a wing.
It was erected in memory of the dirigible "Dixmude" that was destroyed by a storm on the coast of Sicily in 1923.
