Discover the small town of La Farlède near La Crau in the Var
On the outskirts of Toulon, La Farlède is desperately trying to keep its peace and quiet, located in the Gapeau valley just a stone's throw from the beaches. Its vast business park is booming, and the town is already considered a suburb of Toulon.

Numerous gardens
The Gapeau runs through many of the neighborhoods, providing water for gardens. The Reganas spring also powers the old oil mill. Despite its proximity to a large city, La Farlède has managed to preserve its wine, fruit, flowers and olive trees. Its motto is “D'Ou Soulen, Tout Ben ‘ in Provençal, ’Du Soleil, Tout Bien” in French.

The Church of the Immaculate Conception
The Church of the Immaculate Conception has dominated the village center since 1751. Its elegant bell tower, topped by a distinctive campanile, can be seen from afar. Visitors can admire two magnificent paintings by J.L. Panisse in 1785. One depicts Saint-Pierre being freed by an angel, the other illustrates the judgment of Sainte-Christine. A statue of the Virgin and Child, dating from 1727, adorns the main altar.

Hiking on Mont Coudon
For lovers of walking, nature and beautiful views, take a hike on Mont Coudon, located to the west of the commune. Several signposted paths lead to its summit (702 meters), from where you'll have a superb view of the Mediterranean Sea, Toulon and the Var hinterland.

An impressive olive grove
Don't miss “L'Oliveraie des Laures” and its famous multi-centenary olive trees! Some of them are said to be over 650 years old! Unique specimens, they'll impress you with the size of their trunks and the beauty shaped by centuries. To find out more about olive growing and oil production, you can also visit the Moulin du Partigal and the Moulin Guiol, also in La Farlède.
